Las Vegas Market recap: July 2008
The opening days of the recent Las Vegas Market proved to be a success as AICO® new showroom on the top floor of Building C was introduced to thousands of people. To start the week, AICO® held a press party on Sunday. During the two-hour event, attendees were given the opportunity to preview the new collections available from both the Michael Amini® Signature Series, as well as the new "Michael Amini® Casual Impressions" division. Additionally, they were able to preview decorative accent pieces that are available exclusively through the "Michael Amini®...etcetera" division. AICO® President Larry Rinaldi, and CEO and founder Michael Amini both spoke to a full room about the current path of the company as well as future directions of the company, and were available later for questions.

Monday began with the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the new showroom, which was attended by close to 100 people. The showroom was then busy throughout the day as people came through to see the brand new 56,000 square foot showroom, which was often the first stop on many people's lists. Once inside, attendees were treated to live entertainment, magic shows, and food from the bistro. People spent a lot of time in the showroom, as they examined each of the 14 new collections on display for the first time, along with the coordinating Top-of-Bed collections, and the latest additions to the Decorative Accent Rugs collection.
 Another point of interest was the introduction of the new interactive website, which attendees were able to preview before it went live online.

Tuesday's crowds were similar to Monday as people continued to make AICO® one of their premiere stops. Word coming from the Market was that people were very excited about the new collections, as well as the new expansion of the AICO® brand that they felt was very different from the more traditional and opulent furniture for which AICO® is known. A favorite stop for many within the showroom was the new decorative accessories area, in which hundreds of pieces could be found including wall art, designer accent pieces, and lighting accessories. The showroom was once again very lively with entertainment shows, music, and interactive demonstrations of the new web portal, and people continued to pack the showroom as the week continued.

The week proved to be very successful, with the new showroom and collections being heavily talked about in after-Market press, and both AICO® and attendees are anxiously awaiting the next Las Vegas Market in February.
