What is an official AICO® retailer? This section discusses what is required.

There are several requirements that must be met in order for a store to become an official AICO® retailer.

First, AICO® retailers follow a selective distribution model. Certain stores only carry selected collections, so that each store will have something different. This is beneficial for the retailer because they do not have to worry about competing stores, but this is also beneficial for consumers because they have a greater selection of stores and collections to choose from.

Stores are also encouraged to carry "whole" collections, including bedroom, dining room, entertainment, and upholstery. By carrying these "whole" collections, the retailer can bring the full AICO® experience to their showroom floor, and give the consumer the benefit of having everything they need all in one convenient location.

As well, many retailers now carry the Decorative Accent Rug collection, in addition to the Top-of-Bed collection. With these pieces, the true "whole" room collection is available, giving consumers ample styles to choose from, so that they can easily match their new furniture to their current furniture.

Official AICO® retailers also have the policy of White Glove Delivery. White Glove Delivery is a type of delivery that is unparalleled. This delivery includes careful inspection of the product before it leaves the warehouse, and inspection upon delivery. The utmost care and concern is given to each piece delivered, and upon arrival to the end location, the old furniture (if necessary) is taken apart and removed, while the new furniture is brought in and put together. Finally, any necessary clean up is taken care of by the movers.

Official AICO® retailers may also have a presence on the Internet, but in a specific capacity, making it easy to spot online retailers that are not an official retailer of AICO®. For example, all official AICO® online retailers only sell products that they also have available on their brick and mortar showroom floor. As well, they never advertise the prices of any furniture as it is against AICO® policy to do so. Finally, any consumer can expect the same peace of mind when buying online as they do when buying in person, as they can expect the same service from their online retailer as they would from their in-store retailer.

The best way to find a reputable AICO® dealer is to use AICO® Store Locator: U.S., Canada or Mexico. Simply type in your location, the distance you would be willing to travel to find an AICO® dealer, and the retailers within your radius will be highlighted for you. You can even preview what collections they carry. Many of these retailers also have an online presence for easy at-home shopping.
